Medical Manager or Sr. Medical Manager | [ROLE SUMMARY] Medical manager can be a representative on behalf of an affiliate. Medical manager is the in-house expert for the therapeutic areas to which he/she is assigned. Medical Manager plays a key role in the planning and implementation of the clinical research program in line with corporate strategies and the affiliate¡¯s needs. [ROLE RESONSIBILITIES] ¢º Medical strategy - Responsible for TA medical strategy - Responsible for clinical strategy ¢º Leading Medical Projects - Plans and execute medical projects such as advisory board meetings, medical CME, digital medical education programs, and clinical studies ¢º Scientific Support of Marketing Management - Works with marketing colleagues to develop product, business strategies and programs. - Builds and maintains relationships with medical institutions, associations, thought leaders, etc. - Supports speaker programs. - Acts as the affiliate¡¯s spokesperson with the media for medical affairs. - Participates actively in the pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities - Risk management concerning safety issue ¢º Guardian of Compliance (e.g. Regulations, SOP, codes) in the affiliate - Reviews/approves Promotional materials & Media release ¢º Regulatory Affairs: co-develops registration strategy and support the implementation ¢º Access: supports Public Affairs & Policy and Outcomes Research (OR) ¢º Training: provides training support to the other staffs including field force concerning scientific medical aspects ¢º Contributes to Viatris¡¯ external credibility and image by establishing partnerships with local professional organizations, health authorities and opinion leaders ¢º Acts as a Member of Medical Steering committee | ¤ýÇзÂ: Medical Doctor ¢º A medical degree with specialization, or appropriate experience, in the required product or disease area ¢º Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related business, or clearly documented experience indicating a high level of understanding of, and interest in, marketing and business in general ¢º Interest in a long-term career in the pharmaceutical industry ¢º Strong managerial skills or potential ¢º Excellent presentation skills ¢º An ability to travel extensively ¢º Fluency in English is required COMPETENCIES REQUIRED - Leadership - Strategic Thinking - Decision-Making/judgment - Professional Expertise - Communication - Teamwork |
